Hi, I’m Jane!
I care about how things move, especially the human body
I'm passionate about rehabilitation robots, biomedical devices, biomechanics.
I'm currently a master's student in Mechanical Engineering on the Robotics & Control track at Columbia University. My past works have focused on the design, prototype & assembly, control, and simulation of robots. With a solid foundation (no pun intended) of human biology and wet lab experiences from UC Berkeley and UCSF, I hope to bridge engineering design with biological insights that enhance human health and performance.
Outside of engineering, I also play cello and figure skate. Just like everything that happens in our every day lives, these tasks require tremendous amount of sensorimotor control. I am excited to implement biomechanics concepts into what I do on a daily basis outside of the makerspace and the lab benches.
Check out my projects!
